What is the difference between a cold air diffuser and other diffusers?
A Cold Air Diffuser uses Cold Air Diffusion technology, the safest and most effective way to diffuse fragrance oils. Unlike other diffusers, Cold Air Diffusers require no heat or water to disperse the scent into the air in a dry mist of nanoparticles. Essential oils are very delicate and volatile. When heated, their therapeutic benefits are destroyed. Furthermore, scents that are diffused through methods involving heat or water do not disperse well in large areas nor does their scent last long.
Do your systems only work with central A/C?
Aroma360 offers two types of Cold Air Technology diffusers. Our portable line of diffusers can work in any environment and are plugged into an outlet. These diffusers do not require central A/C. Our HVAC units do require a central A/C system to operate and disperse scent through your home or business’s ducts.
Do the HVAC systems only work with cold air?
No. Aroma360 Diffusers can also be used with the fan or heat settings in the central A/C system. Warm air will give you a slightly stronger fragrance experience, so we recommend you turn the intensity down
What is a cold air diffusing technology?
Cold air diffusion is the latest technology in the scenting industry. It is the safest and most effective way to diffuse fragrance oils. It works by using high amounts of cold filtered air combined with air pressure to diffuse oils into a dry mist of nano particles. This cold air diffusion technology is used in all Aroma360 diffusing systems and ensures consistent and subtle scenting
How high should I set the intensity?
Suggested scenting intensity should be between 25-35%. For a lighter intensity, we recommend 10-15%, and for a stronger intensity we recommend 60%.
What is the difference between a standalone and HVAC diffuser?
A standalone diffuser is plugged in and works anywhere there is an electrical outlet. An HVAC unit connects to your HVAC system and provides consistent and even coverage throughout a home or building. Our standalone units include the Mini360, DaVinci360 and our hybrid unit, the VanGogh360. The VanGogh360 can be used as stand-alone or be connected to your HVAC system. Our most powerful diffuser, the Museum360 can only be connected to the HVAC system and scents larger spaces.
What is the best location for your diffuser?
This is an individual choice. Aroma360 recommends that you put your diffuser in the primary area of your home. If you are scenting using one of our stand-alone diffusers, place it where you wish to experience scent the most. If you are using one of our connected HVAC diffusers, scenting will be evenly dispersed throughout the entire area the HVAC covers.
How HVAC scenting system works?
HVAC scenting works through Cold Air Diffusion technology. Cold Air Diffusion technology breaks down the fragrance oils into a dry mist of nanoparticles with the use of cold, filtered air. This dry fragrance mist is released into the HVAC ducts sending a consistent and even scent experience into the desired areas.
Can I lay my unit on an angle or horizontal?
No. When the oil canister is inside the unit, they must always be in their upright position to prevent oil from damaging the inner mechanics of the unit.
For the HVAC units, do I need to have my AC running at all times?
For the HVAC diffuser to work, the fan must always be on. During cool weather, turn the fan of your central A/C unit to the ON position (As opposed to AUTO) to ensure the fragrance circulates throughout your home or business.
